*College of Golf – Keiser University – Port Lucie, Florida
*Golf Academy of America – San Diego, California
*Professional Golfer’s Career College – Temecula, California

Now, I know these schools have other campuses, but I have narrowed it down to Florida or California. If anyone can tell me about these schools if you attended that would be great.

I have looked into College of Golf in great detail & can tell you that the perks for attending this program are going to be related to the PGA. They’re the only program where you play on PGA courses & get a membership to the practice range. I’m not sure if theirs is the only one, but you also get to learn from all PGA instructors. Their degree will also give you 6 credits towards PGA membership. But that’s only a plus if you’re going to get a membership card.
The fact that they have the most advanced golf tech is pretty cool too,and is good for anyone. It has to be a big plus when you go to get a job & you already know how to work on the TaylorMade system and then some.
Now, I’m from florida and have family in CA so i can tell you that the living expenses will be a lot less, too, but I don’t know your situation to know if that matters or not. I know that the other 2 schools have been around a lot longer, but that’s also what I like about the College of Golf, it’s fresh & when I spoke with them everyone was really excited about what they’ve got going on. If I recall correctly their program is a little bit different & I think is a higher ed standard than the others, too.
Have you talked with anyone there yet? If not you may want to, they really helped me, I’m just not able to do it at this time, but if you get to sweet!

I am a college student in Boston who is looking to stay with family in San Diego California for the summer, but obviously not without employment. I don’t know how to go about looking for a job long distance, and can’t go out there without a job basically lined up. I am looking for advice and maybe some websites that will help me find a job in retail, restaurants, golf courses, anything, preferably near the Miramar Marine Corps Base area. Any thoughts or advice will help!
