Its for my girlfriends 21st birthday, something nice thats not horribly priced. Again its only 1 night just to go around to the bars and such in Downtown San Diego. Thank you

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it’s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online… otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

Ive been wanting to learn to play golf..id like to take some lessons ..whats the best place to go to in South California
(San Diego, Palm Springs area)

most PGA pros are useless and will ruin whatever chance you have of getting good at golf be very careful who you go to, large resort pros are only interested in your money and will stand behind you for an hour(fifty minutes) saying how good you look and how much you are improving, if ANY pro says your knee position is wrong on the backswing or touches your knee with his club while in the backswing position, run away he’s an idiot

I’m planning to go to San Diego with 2 of my friends and since we are going via Amtrak, we need some way to get around San Diego for the entire day. We are arriving at the San Diego Amtrak Station and I was wondering what type of transportation would be the most cost-effective for the three of us.

Also, since we do not know San Diego too well, I would greatly appreciate it if you leave any suggestions on where to visit or any activities we can do during our trip. Oh and if there are some MUST eat San Diego restaurants, it would be great if you guys could name some.

Thanks!
I forgot to add, for transportation methods, it would be great if you guys can add the price for like an all day pass or whatever. Thanks!

Of coarse you HAVE to see the "Plymouth rock" of the west coast! Presidio Hill and the Serra Museum Followed by "Old Town" and while in "Old Town" there is a Mexican restaurant there (the name escapes me but there’s only one) that is cheap and GOOD. I might inject here that as far as Mexican food goes, California, San Diego in particular, has at LEAST as good but PROBABLY BETTER than Mexico itself.
Mission Bay is a must especially if you like boating, Sea World, the ZOO and the Balboa Park museums. And if you still need more San Pasqual has a Wild Animal Park that is great.
They have a tram system in SD that takes you close to almost anywhere you want to go, unless it has drastically changed lately, it’s fairly safe.
