Pacific Beach San Diego is the most popular beach in San Diego for locals and also tourists who visit the San Diego beaches. Pacific Beach has a population of 40000 residents and many are college students from area universities. Pacific Beach is home to some great clothing boutiques, shopping, beach bars and great restaurants in addition to surfing, rollerblading, walking and biking. Come hang out on the beach on a nice Saturday afternoon up by Tourmaline Surf Park as we watch people hanging …

My friend is flying out from colorado with limited money and she wants to find a hotel that rents by the week for about $200 for the week or so. Plzzzzz Help if you know anything
Try the 500 West hotel. They most likely have cheap weekly rates its a budget hotel. You have shared bathrooms in the budget rooms. I stayed there it was cool. Jus to get out and see the sights its in a great location.
Im looking at going to the professional golfers career college or to the san diego golf academy. The pgcc one is in hilton head. The sdga one is in myrtle beach. Has anyone gone to these or know anything about them i would'nt know from doing my reading on their website?
The head professional at my course attended San Diego and he is doing an excellent job so based on that alone I would have to say it is a good choice. I have no experience with the others.
I mean they took care of over 10 xs the amount of animals and they were under budget to boot. Noah dint have a multimillion dollar budget and even less staff. Hats off too Noah and his crew for doing an “impossible” job
I think we can all learn a lot from God and his people.
We called 2 LLL Reptiles and they have none in stock.
fyi – Garter snakes are not good pets. I'm an experienced snake person with corns, kings, pines, boas and pythons, but still can not handle a garter without feeling nervous. They are skittish, and often cannibalistic. If this is a pet question then go for a cornsnake, 12 months plus would be great for a beginner.
I'm going to San Diego in a few weeks for Spring Break, and i wanted to go to a really pretty, big, warm beach with clear water (or close to clear waters) and white sand! Lol. I'll be in San Diego for a week and have 5 out of the 7 days open! So just let me know if you have any ideas of what beaches I should visit! Thanks!
My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE San Diego area beach is Coronado Beach on the west side of Coronado Island. The island is just across the water from downtown San Diego. You can catch a ferry from the waterfront or drive across the impressive 2 mile long San Diego-Coronado bridge. The Hotel Coronado is there and the most amazing sunsets can be seen across Pt. Loma. Just breathtaking!!
We used to drive 7 hours from Tucson, AZ to hit this beach! (and hang out in the San Diego area for awhile) Water is great for body surfing and the beach is gorgeous! And while most beaches can be busy, with parking at a premium, there are plenty of places to park on the surrounding side streets – just don't block anybody's driveway and you'll be fine! Better yet, if you are staying on the island you can walk or take the local transportation.
Have a great time – wish I was going!!
If my husband will be working on Camp Pendleton, and I will be going to school in San Diego, where would be a good location for us to live to meet in the middle? My husband will only be working on Pendleton for the year, then he too will attend college. We are ready to buy a home, anyone suggestions on locations? Thank you.
It really depends on what you are looking for. There are lots of really cool small little towns that dot the coast in north county. Most of them are fairly expensive since they are close to the coast but you can save a little bit of $$ by looking further inland. One of my favorites is Cardiff by the Sea, which is a just north of Solana Beach, which is also a pretty nice place but tends to skew older demographically. Cardiff is very small but offers a very laid back beach community vibe. You can also consider Encinitas which is north of that and would probably be a cheaper version of CBS with a little more to do. If you go south of Solana, you are getting into Del Mar, La Jolla, and Carmel Mountain which are all super expensive. However if you head east at the 805/5 split you get to Mira Mesa, Sorrento, Clairmont, and Kearny Mesa which are all very centrally located and close to the freeways. The cost of living is also a lot more reasonable in those areas.
Good luck.
There are a lot of beach hotels in San Diego that are situated in the Pacific Beach and Mission Beach communities. The Best Western Blue Sea Lodge is one of the best beach hotels in San Diego when it comes to quality rooms at an affordable price. The Best Western Blue Sea Lodge offers rates from $150 – $250 depending on the time of the year with all rooms offering full or partial ocean views. Each hotel room has a kitchenette with a refrigerator and kitchen counter top for those looking to …
