It all depends on what you're looking for!

I was in charge of finding a place for a family reunion with people of all ages coming from 3 states…no pressure!

After tons of internet research, I decided on San Diego (I'm from there and we live in OC.)

We all spent a week at Loews Coronado Beach Resort. Everyone loved it. A few amenities are: short walk to the beach, bike, surrey and boat rental right there on the property, valet or self-park, great restaurants at the hotel, lobby bar with fireplace, small grocery store, luxurious spa on property, 24 hour room service, work-out room, live music on weekends, Sunday brunch, 4 pools/jacuzzis, short drive to downtown Coronado, great concierge desk where you can buy discounted tickets to Sea World, the S.D. Zoo and more…etc. My husband even surprised me with a romantic gondola ride through the Coronado Cays on our last night.

Good luck and I hope this helps!

I don't really know Lego Land and I'm thinking he'll get bored at the Zoo easily… any suggestions?

I think Lego Land would be a lot of fun for him, the place is very cool, you would probably even like it. The zoo is a 50-50 shot with a child i would say. My reasons are because either he will be very interested in all the animals and love it a want to pet every one, or he will get frightened and scared and cry a lot over the big scary things. I dont know your son and maybe he is in love with animals? and/or maybe he plays with legos? Hope that helps!
